NaNa in Frankfurt

Delicious food and on the phone with ingenious friendliness. Because of collection around 2030 is more expensive. That's not true at all. 😁 We have already picked up the lockdown output window once. We'll be back and report again.

Absolute recommendation! The Nana in Sachsenhausen is one of my favorite restaurants near Schweizer Platz. The menu has something for everyone, but there are mainly many vegetarian / vegan options. From summer rolls with tofu or avocado to delicious, fresh sushi to Vietnamese noodle soups, there is everything your heart desires. Everything tastes fresh and tasty and the waiting times were adequate. In my opinion, the service is ALWAYS friendly. The nice owner laughs a lot and is always available for a little small talk. You can tell that they work with passion here! Even on the phone, the employees are always friendly. And even if (as happened last time) the starter is served after the main course, one is accommodated here. Here we were proactively offered a price reduction, which I found very accommodating. This is how you feel valued as a guest and you love to come back again and again! Highly recommended and always worth a visit! :)

Super tasty spring rolls, summer rolls, sushi and noodles. Have liked to try the card a little. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. We would love to come back.

There is sushi + Vietnamese, value for money is good for solid quality

As such, there is nothing wrong with the food. However, it has happened to us several times now that we wanted to order a bánh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) for collection, but the restaurant had no baguettes in stock. Despite the fact that we then (!!!) organized baguettes and brought them to the restaurant, the full price was charged. It cannot be that this happens repeatedly and that a dish that is on the menu is permanently out of stock. Something like this can be understood with seasonal vegetables or fish, but with baguettes ?? Especially since Schweizerstrasse feels the highest density of bakeries in all of Frankfurt.

The coffee is good, the food is as far as I've tried it, very neat. The atmosphere I find loose and comfortable, it's just sometimes rather noisy when the store is full. One can, especially if you sit outside, afternoon evening see / the evening sky. Overall very solid café.

Came across this place by accident. We had Summer rolls, Vietnamese sandwich & salmon avocado sushi. The food was good, friendly staffs. The location is great too! Not so far from Süd Bahnhof. What I like the most is the toilet, quite clean. They also offer tampons, alcohol gel and deodorant!!!

Good prices and lavish menu. A pleasant atmosphere in itself. On the last visit, however, a somewhat distance-less (i.e. patronizing) waitress, who, although many tables were free, put us in the last corner at the table next to the storage area (?). Unfortunately the sushi was also prepared very unprofessionally (almost fell apart when served). Hope this turns out to be an exception ...

Athe quality of the food is only worth a star. We ordered two soups (the vegan one and the pho) as well as some summer rolls with shrimps. The soups tasted only like fat, even the vegan one (?!) and the rolls had a bunch of rice noodles in it and some sad looking and not so fresh shrimp on them. Overall the service was fast and friendly but we will most definitely not be coming back.

I was a bit disappointed since I know this place and have ordered here many times. Service and location is great but the food on that day simply wasn’t what it used to be. I’m hoping the next time around it will be more tasty.

Same opinion as other reviewers said, the meat in my Bun (noodle salad) was dry and tough AF! Which was quite unbelievable for an Asian restaurant. We are known for making tender and juicy meat. I was really disappointed as I heard many good comments about this place. But the pork at this place was over cooked, over marinated and very lean. It seems the cheap part of the pork was used. Not much herby flavour as in other viet places but just plain salty. The noodle was drowning in the sauce which should come separately. The nice touch was the tiny half glass of free mint tea, hence the two stars.

Always ask for drinking prices!! there is no drinking menu which gives the waiter a very high range for charging prices randomly. Prices for food and drinks are disproportional!!

I grew up eating Vietnamese food. I was craving for some good Viet lunch and picked this place because of good reviews. Sadly, was disappointed. The staff is very friendly. But my Bun Nam with Pork was the driest, saddest pieces of meat. It did not taste fresh, was hard to chew and basically, I could not eat more than a few bites. The sommer rolls were pretty good so ate least I had that for my appetite. And their homemade mint tea was great. I was honest with my server and she reduced the price of my bowl, which is why I have some stars rather than one.

Nice asian food. Perfect with good weather at the terrace. Inside the place it's very small, so better order to take away. The food is asian, we liked vietnamese specialities. Good price per value.
